WINE COUNTRY TO THE RESCUE
Where does the money go?
Wine County to the Rescue is a fundraiser to benefit firefighters of Northern Sonoma County and in turn benefit the people of Northern Sonoma County. Geyserville, Cloverdale and Healdsburg firefighters have teamed up to raise money for improved training programs. The Fire Agencies of Northern Sonoma County have a symbiotic relationship, so it only makes sense to partner up with our fundraising efforts.
“Let no Firefighter’s ghost return to say their training failed them” – unknown. Firefighters are called “A jack of all trades”. We don’t get that way without training. Firefighters never stop training. Money raised at Wine Country to the Rescue will fund new and challenging training’s. We look forward to bringing new instructors and trainings.
Some of the training we will be conducting:
- Advanced Rope Rescue training
- Confined Space training
- Truck (Ladder) Operations
- Many more to be announced later
Learn more about what we have purchased with profits from previous years:
- Ventilation Training Prop Trailer (2016)
- Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (2015)
- Air Compressor Vehicle (2014)
